Christmas cheer is in full force on the ground in Dubai

We all know Christmas can be a stressful time of year, especially if you’re travelling over the festive season. Christmas is the once time of year when there’s a huge amount of traffic passing through airports all around the world, all within the last few weeks of the year. Most travellers are connecting onto various destinations around the world to catch up with family and friends over the festive season.

If you are travelling with Emirates out of Dubai you can enjoy a stress free experience before you even start the commute to the airport. Emirates are offering passengers the ability to check in from their home, office or hotel for their upcoming flight. The Emirates home check in service will check in your luggage, issue boarding passes and answer any questions you might have prior to arriving at the airport. Once you arrive at the airport you can skip the check in desks and head straight towards passport control.

If you’re eligible to access any Emirates lounge across the whole network you will be able to enjoy a range of traditional Christmas dishes including roast turkey, roasted lamb leg with rosemary jus, as well as a wide range of Christmas treats including apple and cinnamon cake, yule log cake and stolen cake. These festive inspired dishes will be available in all 42 Emirates operated lounges, including seven lounges in Dubai International Airport, dishes will be avaliable from the 15 December to the 31 December.

Emirates has also partnered up with Voss this festive season. Passengers who are relaxing in the Business Class lounge in Concourse B at Dubai International Airport prior to their flight can enjoy a range of specially infused Voss water along with friendly advice from Voss nutritionists to keep you feeling fresh and hydrated while travelling.

The drinks on offer are in the lounge are:

  • Energy Fruit Infusion (Lemon and Mint)
  • Relax Fruit Infusion (Kiwi and Cucumber)
  • Detox Fruit Infusion (Apple, Lemon and Basil)

The airline will also be serving up gingerbread lattes and caramelo lattes in their First and Business Class lounges in Dubai from specially designed cart.

Christmas is the time of giving as we all know and if you are in need of any last minute Christmas presents you are still able to purchase items from the Emirates Official Store, which sees some limited edition Christmas inspired products in the airlines festive collection. Items include Christmas pyjama sets, greeting cards, sweaters and holiday mugs.

All these festive offerings on board and on the ground are all part of Emirates’ commitment to enhance the overall customer experience with these special seasonal offerings.
