Standing proud high above some of Sydney’s most iconic precincts and attractions in the heart of a busy city centre, The Vibe Hotel Sydney has just undergone a huge renovation and is now open to guests.
The new look will impress you as soon as you step foot through the front doors. The new makeover and refresh makes for a brand new and improved accommodation and dining experience for both leisure and business travellers.
The new eclectic Vibe brand that relaunched in 2015 has finally reached the Vibe Hotel Sydney, all be it three years later from when the re-brand was first unveiled. This new look Vibe Hotel promises a journey of sensory paces, generous communal areas, large open spaces and a showcase of beautiful textured materials all combined with a bright new colour pallet.
Located on Goulburn Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD, it’s only a two-minute walk down from Museum Station to the hotel, or 10 minutes from Central Station.
The new transformation unveils 198 spacious luxurious guest rooms, along with thirteen suites, two conference spaces, an exquisite rooftop swimming pool overlooking the beautiful Sydney skyline, along with a fully equipped gym on the top level.
The foyer has transformed into a high class check in area accented by the chevron patterned wooden floorboards, luxurious lounges and seating areas accented by large rugs that combine together all the colours that feature in the lobby.
The new bar area features an above bar garden adding a sense of texture and tranquillity. A large bar takes pride of place, with exquisite gold shelves holding various spirits and wines all on show to guests. The patterned floorboards flow into this area nicely from the communal lobby area, with various seating options for guests to sit back and relax in.
Beautiful floral artwork features on one of walls, making for an impressive feature, the murals have been hand painted by Apparition Media and are framed by bold navy walls.
Each guest room undertook an extensive renovation with rooms now resembling something that you would find in a luxurious hotel, but thankfully the expensive price tag doesn’t come with it. All of the guest rooms on offer echo the high quality and detail that is found in the hotel’s lobby.
“Through creative interior design and inspired communal areas, the hotels refresh will make it a must stay location in the heart of Sydney” Said TFE Hotels Chairman, Allan Vidor.
In each of the room’s guests are offered a state-of-the-art coffee machine, 49’ Full HD Television and 24 hour in room dining available – so there is no hassles getting a soothing to eat if you arrive into the hotel late at night from either flying in or coming from a late business meeting.
There is a wide range of rooms on offer, including a master suite with two bedrooms, plus an excellent selection of family suitable rooms which can sleep up to four guests.
The deluxe suite would have to be my favourite room on offer, it features apartment style living with a separate living room, work desk with lamp, luxurious amenities including a coffee pod machine and two huge 49” Full HD Televisions.
The hotel refurbishment also includes the opening of Sydney’s second, Storehouse dining concept. This exciting new bar and restaurant joins the local dining scene of delicious dining hubs and laneway bars that are all within walking distance from the hotel. Previously the Storehouse Restaurant was only at the hotel brands flagship hotel, at Rushcutters Bay. If you are after a delicious meal with a local twist at any time of day the Storehouse is the CBD’s new go to dining destination.
